“EcoWira”: An R&S – LeapEd Collaboration

Inspired by Dr Jane Goodall, and in collaboration with Roots & Shoots Malaysia, EcoWira was developed as a project-based learning Eco-Education programme for the 2.0 and Year 4 and 5 Trust Schools which are supported by LeapEd Services Sdn Bhd.

The project has impacted 41 schools in Perlis, Kelantan, Terengganu, Perak, Pahang, Sarawak, Sabah, and KL/Selangor. The design thinking cycle was the basis for the programme to develop ec-solutions for schools and local communities, to help the environment, whereas the Roots & Shoots 4 step formula was the guide by which schools and students knew they were on tract with their projects.
